La Estacion Gallery will be participating in upcoming 2019 edition of the leading Art Fair in Latin America, Zona Maco.
We will present works from the following artists:
1. Marco Arce. Mexico 1965
2. Fernanda Brunet. Mexico 1965
3. Christoph Dahlhausen. Germany 1960
4. Ichiro Irie. Japan 1970
Our proposal will include large format paintings, drawings, solid acrylic pieces and bronze sculptures.
Our pitch for the fair includes painting with traditional techniques:
Acrylic on linen by the artist Fernanda Brunet. We will also have Ichiro Irie’s drawings “Impermanencias” done with marker pen, and German artist Christoph Dahlhausen will install pieces of solid acrylic and stainless steel with finishes and high-tech surfaces. And last but not least, artist Marco Arce will bring a sculpture bronze piece.
Our selected themes for the exhibit are technology, nature and consciousness, and it will be addressed by presenting objects that refer us to the High-Tec in finishes with the work «Cut / Set» and «Acrylic lights» by Christoph Dahlhausen. Also seeking to generate a dialogue with the impermanence found at Ichiro Irie’s designs of yonkes «Impermanence 1 & 2”. It will greatly compare with an aspect of nature located in the paintings of Koi fishponds by Fernanda Brunet and as a link in the concepts we will have the work «Angry Face» by Marco Arce as a satire of the prospect of disappointment on the part of a human consciousness today.
