Let There Be Light

Christoph Dahlhausen, born 1960, allows light and color emerge from the objects themselves. He combines light installations  using prefabricated scaffolding sections and blue fluorescent tubes with wall installations that more like a geometrical  wall painting. In these he covers various panels and mirrors either with spray or self adhesive vinyl. In any case the fascinated viewer and the viewers activity interact with the work.
German based and internationally known artist Christoph Dahlhausen will show now for the fourth time at La Estacion Arte Contemporaneo. He had been presented in the festival La Ruta and Pasaje Victoria as well as in a large scale window installation at the Casas Redonda Museo Chihuahuense de Arte Contemporaneo in 2012. Dahlhausen is an adjunct professor at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. His work has been exhibited widely all over the world, with large scale solo exhibitions in Germany, Poland, France, Belguim, Switzerland, Austria, Brasil, Mexico, UAS, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zeland
